Hello,
We know that the spinner have four part-A, B,C, and D
P(landing on A): 1/4
P(landing on B):1/4
P(landing on C):1/4
P(landing on D):1/4

1/4×1/4×1/4×1/4=1/256. As a result, the probability that the spinner will land on A, then B, then C, then D is 1/256 or C. Hope it help!

Which equation results from taking the square root of both sides of (x 9)2 = 25? x 3 = ±5 x 3 = ±25 x 9 = ±5 x 9 = ±25.
kow [346]

The equation which is results from taking the square root of both sides of the provided equation is,

(x+9)=\pm5\\

<h3>What is the square root?</h3>

A square root of a number is the value which is when multiplicand by itself gives the same value as the number posses.

Let a number is <em>a. </em>Then this number in the form of square root can be written as,

a=\sqrt{a}\times \sqrt{a}

The given algebraic equation in the problem is,

(x+ 9)^2 = 25

Take the square root, in both sides,

\sqrt{(x+ 9)^2} = \sqrt{25}\\\sqrt{(x+ 9)^2} = \sqrt{5^2}

Cancel out the square root with the square of the number as,

(x+9)=\pm5\\

Hence, the equation which is results from taking the square root of both sides of the provided equation is,

(x+9)=\pm5\\

Pleaseeeee help me. i really need it.
deff fn [24]

comparing the relation given

thus y= -2x +1 to the general equation of a line

where y= mx + c

where m is the gradient and c is the intercept on the y-axis.

from the question, the gradient is -2 and since the line is perpendicular, the gradient is given as

\frac{ - 1}{m}

so substituting the value of m in to the equation

\frac{ - 1}{ - 2}

=

\frac{1}{2}

as the gradient

equation of line is given by

y - y1 = m( x-x1)

from the question y1= -2 and x1=1

substitute them

y-(-2) = 1/2 (x -1)

y+2 =1/2 (x-1)

multiplying through by 2

2 (y+2) = x-1

2y +4 = x-1

2y =x-1-4

2y =x-5

x -2y -5 = 0

therefore the equation for the line is x-2y -5=0
