(20 POINTS!!) If newton's 1st law of motion did not exist, WHY would objects start to move by themselves? Explain please!

Since newtons first was motion is often stated as <span>An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. so if there wasn't his first law things couldnt be held in place and kept in the position.
