passing

you pass/give the ball to the teammate closet to you

dribbling

dribbling is bouncing the ball on the floor continuously with one hand at a time. You can't hold the ball in your hand for, like, more than 2 sec

so you have to keep dribbling it.

shooting

its when you throw the ball into the basketball hoop.
