Table wines have an alcoholic range of d. 8.5 to 17 percent. Examples of table wines are red wine, white wine, and rose wine. Wines with higher alcohol content are classified as dessert wines. Comparing the two, table wines are lighter and are sometimes even called light wine or light table wine.
