Answer and explanation:

In the famous epic poem "The Odyssey", Odysseus has spent the past couple of decades trying to return home after the war in Troy. When he finally comes home and kills the men who want to marry his wife, Penelope, he is unrecognizable - not only because of the time that has passed, but also because the goddess Athena changed his appearance. To test him and be sure if he truly is who he says he is, Penelope asks a servant to move their marriage bed. Odysseus gets angry at her order, since he built their bedroom around an olive tree and used the tree as a bedpost. His knowledge of that story and his anger show Penelope that man is truly the husband she's been faithfully waiting for.

choli [55]

The correct statement here is

(2). Over time, the Arab Empire expanded and conquered Byzantine territories in the Middle East and northern Africa

Explanation:

At the time of the bifurcation and eventual fall of the original Roman empire with its fragmentation, the holy Roman empire up west was the empire that was its successor in a sense while the empire that emerged to the east was of the Byzantines who were ruling from Iran.

Their power would be challenged by the caliphate after the formulation of  Islam as they would eventually take over all the territory of the Byzantines and force the empire into near submission.

Stells [14]

Answer:

sociological imagination,

Explanation:

With the term "sociological imagination" first written in 1959, Mills refers to the sociological imagination, as the mindset for sociologists and students of sociology, that enables us to connect individual experiences and social events.

It also enables us to differentiate, measure the social forces of a public character, in an individual, group and public spheres.

It is an effort to identify the impact on private life, put it in context or disassociate it.

The sociological imagination lets us understand the historical process that lay before us, and that targe us in terms of our personal experiences.

Based on the circumstances, we identify private issues, as such. The character of interactions with other people. We set public issues into a whole another arena and make relationships within the social structures.

It is a key ability for anyone engaging in research and study of social science. The ability to gain insight and a correct framework and perspective comes from plentiful suggestions that Wight Mills wrote- :)
