Answer:

The planning time of the planner machine is 100 minute

Explanation:

<u>Planning machine</u>

A planning machine is a metal working machine that gives a flat surface to the work piece. Here the work-piece reciprocates and the feed is given to the tool.  A planning machine is used for heavy duty work and are often large in size.

 The machining time or the planning time of a planning machine is given by,

t_{m} = \frac{L_{w}}{N_{s}\times f}

where, L_{w} is the total length of travel of job

                                    = width of the job

                                    = 300 mm

            N_{s} is number of strokes per min

                                     = 10 double strokes per min

            f is feed of the tool, mm per stroke

                                      = 0.3 mm per stroke

Therefore,  t_{m} = \frac{L_{w}}{N_{s}\times f}

                                            = \frac{300}{10\times 0.3}

                                           = 100 min

Therefore the planning time is 100 minute.

Readme [11.4K]

Answer: hardness

Explanation:

Hardness is a measure of a material's ability to resist plastic deformation. In other words, it is a measure of how resistant material is to denting or scratching. Diamond, for example, is a very hard material. It is extremely difficult to dent or scratch a diamond. In contrast, it is very easy to scratch or dent most plastics.

In an orthogonal cutting operation, the tool has a rake angle = 12°. The chip thickness before the cut = 0.32 mm and the cut yie
Snezhnost [94]

Answer:

The shear plane angle and shear strain are 28.21° and 2.155 respectively.

Explanation:

(a)

Orthogonal cutting is the cutting process in which cutting direction or cutting velocity is perpendicular to the cutting edge of the part surface.

Given:

Rake angle is 12°.

Chip thickness before cut is 0.32 mm.

Chip thickness is 0.65 mm.

Calculation:

Step1

Chip reduction ratio is calculated as follows:

r=\frac{t}{t_{c}}

r=\frac{0.32}{0.65}

r = 0.4923

Step2

Shear angle is calculated as follows:

tan\phi=\frac{rcos\alpha}{1-rsin\alpha}

Here, \phi is shear plane angle, r is chip reduction ratio and \alpha is rake angle.

Substitute all the values in the above equation as follows:

tan\phi=\frac{rcos\alpha}{1-rsin\alpha}

tan\phi=\frac{0.4923cos12^{\circ}}{1-0.4923sin12^{\circ}}

tan\phi=\frac{0.48155}{0.8976}

\phi=28.21^{\circ}

Thus, the shear plane angle is 28.21°.

(b)

Step3

Shears train is calculated as follows:

\gamma=cot\phi+tan(\phi-\alpha)

\gamma=cot28.21^{\circ}+tan(28.21^{\circ}-12^{\circ})\gamma = 2.155.

Thus, the shear strain rate is 2.155.

SashulF [63]

Answer:

the police officer cruise each streets precisely once and he enters and exit with the same gate.

Explanation:

NB: kindly check below for the attached picture.

The term ''Euler circuit'' can simply be defined as the graph that shows the edge of K once in a finite way by starting and putting a stop to it at the same vertex.

The term "Hamiltonian Circuit" is also known as the Hamiltonian cycle which is all about a one time visit to the vertex.

Here in this question, the door is the vertex and the road is the edge.

The information needed to detemine a Euler circuit and a Hamilton circuit is;

"the police officer cruise each streets precisely once and he enters and exit with the same gate."

Check attachment for each type of circuit and the differences.
