The force of gravity between two objects is

                         F = g (m₁ m₂) / R² .

'g' is the universal gravitational constant . . .

                                             6.67 x 10⁻¹¹ newton-meter² / kilogram²

m₁ is the mass of one mass . . . 0.25 kg

m₂ is the mass of the other mass . . . 0.63 kg

'R' is the distance between their centers . . . 2.0 meters

           F = (6.67 x 10⁻¹¹ nt-m²/kg²) x (0.25 kg) x (0.63 kg) / (2 m)²  =

                 (6.67 x 10⁻¹¹ nt-m²/kg²) x        (0.1575 kg²)  /  (4 m²)  =

                     2.626 x 10⁻¹² newton .

                     (about  0.000 000 000 009 45  ounce)

This is the main reason why, when we stand next to
fat people, cement trucks, tall buildings, or mountains,
we don't feel gravitationally drawn towards them.

How do longshore currents shape the land?
Sonbull [250]
Longshore drift has a very powerful influence on the shape and composition of the coastline. It changes the slopes of beaches and creates long, narrow shoals of land called spits, that extend out from shore. Longshore drift may also create or destroy entire “barrier islands” along a shoreline.

A child goes down the slide,starting from rest. If the length of the slide is 2m and it takes the child 3 seconds to go down the
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

0.44 m/s^2

Explanation:

We have the following data:

- distance covered by the child: d = 2 m (length of the slide)

- time taken to cover this distance: t = 3 s

- initial velocity of the child: 0 m/s (he starts from rest)

So we can find the acceleration by using the equation:

d=ut+\frac{1}{2}at^2

Where a is the acceleration.

Substituting the values and solving for a,

a=\frac{2d}{t^2}=\frac{2(2)}{3^2}=0.44 m/s^2

What is the wavelenght of an earthquake wave if it has a speed of 11 km/s and a frequency of 15 Hz
Zolol [24]

Answer:

The wavelength is about 733 meters.

Explanation:

Use the wavelength-frequency relationship:

\lambda = \frac{v}{f}= \frac{11000 \frac{m}{s}}{15 s^{-1}}\approx733m

The wavelength is about 733 meters.
