A

Explanation:

The genome of prokaryotes has no introns hence their mRNA does not need splicing like in eukaryotic cells. Also, because the genome of prokaryotes is not delimited from the cytoplasm by a nuclear membrane, ribosomes can attach to the elongating mRNA during transcription and begin translation. Therefore translation of mRNA occurs concurrently with transcription which cannot happen with eukaryotic cells.

In the nucleus of eukaryotic cells, transcription results to a nascent mRNA which is spliced into a mature mRNA.The mature mRNA has to travel outside the nucleus to the cytoplasm to be translated by ribosomes.

Please help! Due tomorrow!!

How does feedback inhibition stop the production of energy?
pishuonlain [190]
In feedback inhibition, binding of the end product to the allosteric site slows down or stops the enzyme’s activity so that little or no new end product is produced. When levels of the end product drop, the enzyme will encounter fewer particles of the end product and its activity will increase again.

Which statement explains why greenhouse gases are needed for the survival of life on Earth?
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

B. Without greenhouse gases, Earth would be too cold for life to exist.

Explanation:

Greenhouse gas (carbon dioxide) can reflect sunlight back to earth so it keeps the energy and make the planet warmer. Too many greenhouse gases make the planet too hot and cause global warming, but if its too little then the planet will be colder.

Colder temperature can also be dangerous as it will kill many organisms that can't resist it. The ideal condition should be in between, not too hot and not too cold.
