Answer:

Explanation:

Acceleration =  a change in velocity / a change in time

Acceleration = ( final velocity - initial velocity) / a change in time

Acceleration = (6m/s - 35 m/s ) / 5 s

                     = (-29 m/s) /( 5 s)

                     = - 5.8 m/s^^2

Remember Significant Figures

- 6 m/s^2

P.S I have no idea why the answers say m/s because acceleration is m/s^2.

What wavelength of radiation has photons of energy 2.87×x10−18 j?
Masja [62]
The energy of a photon is given by
E=hf
where h is the Planck constant and f is the frequency of the light.
Given the relationship between the frequency f, the wavelength \lambda and the speed of light c for an electromagnetic wave:
f= \frac{c}{\lambda}
we can rewrite the energy of the photon as
\lambda =  \frac{hc}{E}
and by substituting h=6.6 \cdot 10^{-34 J}, c=3 \cdot 10^8 m/s and E=2.87 \cdot 10^{-18}J, we get the wavelength of the photon:
\lambda =  \frac{hc}{E}=6.9 \cdot 10^{-8} m = 69 nm

A 97.6-kg baseball player slides into second base. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the player and the ground is μk =
Mila [183]

Answer:

v=6.65m/sec

Explanation:

From the Question we are told that:

Mass m=97.6

Coefficient of kinetic friction  \mu k=0.555

Generally the equation for Frictional force is mathematically given by

 F=\mu mg

 F=0.555*97.6*9.8

 F=531.388N

Generally the  Newton's equation for Acceleration due to Friction force is mathematically given by

 a_f=-\mu g

 a_f=-0.555 *9.81

 a_f=-54455m/sec^2

Therefore

 v=u-at

 v=0+5.45*1.22

 v=6.65m/sec
