Probably the CO2 concentration. If the earth gets warmer by rising greenhouse gases (one of which is CO2), the amount of rainfall and precipitation increases. I am not an expert, but that's my first guess.

Carbon Dioxide would be your answer. Plants love Carbon Dioxide and as a gift they produce oxygen, its also because of greenhouse effects because of the sun and gases around. However, the amount of Carbon Dioxide on our planet Earth is running low so soon Earth's landscapes will soon decay.

Calculate the solubility (in g/L) of CaSO 4 ( s ) CaSO4(s) in 0.400 M Na 2 SO 4 ( aq ) at 25 ° C 0.400 M Na2SO4(aq) at 25°C. The
Allushta [10]

Explanation:

Ionization equation for CaSO_{4} is as follows.

     CaSO_{4} \rightarrow Ca^{2+} + SO^{2-}_{4}

        s              s           s

Now, the expression for the solubility product is as follows.

          K_{sp} = [Ca^{2+}][SO^{2-}_{4}]

                = s \times s

                = s^{2}

As the concentration of Na_{2}SO_{4} is given as 0.4 M.

So,  [Na_{2}SO_{4}] = [SO^{2-}_{4}] = 0.4 M

Putting the given values as follows.

           K_{sp} = [Ca^{2+}][SO^{2-}_{4}]

     4.93 \times 10^{-5} = [Ca^{2+}] \times 0.4

              [Ca^{2+}] = 12.325 \times 10^{-5}[/tex]

Hence, the solubility of CaSO_{4} in Na_{2}SO_{4} is 12.325 \times 10^{-5}.

Therefore, solubility of CaSO_{4} in g/ml as follows.

        12.325 \times 10^{-5} \times 136 g/mol

           = 0.0167 g/L

Thus, we can conclude that solubility of CaSO_{4} is 0.0167 g/L.

If the gas in the piston above has a volume of 20.0 L at a temperature of 25 C what is the volume of that gas when it is heated
dexar [7]

Answer:

15.98 L

Explanation:

First, you need to find T1, T2, V1 and V2.

T1 = 25 C = 298.15 K (25C + 273.15K)

T2 = 100 C = 373.15 K (100C + 273.15K)

V1 = 20. L

V2 = ? (we are trying to find)

Next, rearrange to fit the formula

V2 = V1 x T1 / T2

Next, fill in with our numbers

V2 = 20. L x 298.15 K / 373.15 K

Do the math and you should get...

15.98 L

- If you need more help or futher explanation please let me know. I would be glad to help!

Calculate the molarity of a solution of Nach if it contains 7.2.g Nach in 100.0 mL of solution. andver: m Nach . .
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

1.23 M

Explanation:

Molarity of a substance , is the number of moles present in a liter of solution .

M = n / V

M = molarity

V = volume of solution in liter ,

n = moles of solute ,

Moles is denoted by given mass divided by the molecular mass ,

Hence ,

n = w / m

n = moles ,

w = given mass ,

m = molecular mass .

From the question ,

w = given mass of NaCl = 7.2 g

As we know , the molecular mass of NaCl = 58.5 g/mol

Moles is calculated as -

n = w / m  =  7.2 g / 58.5 g/mol = 0.123 mol

Molarity is calculated as -

V = 100ml = 0.1 L            (since , 1 ml = 1/1000L )

M = n / V  =  0.123 mol / 0.1 L = 1.23 M

How are elements and compounds similar
Ludmilka [50]
Elements and compounds are pure chemical substances found in nature. The difference between an element and a compound is that an element is a substance made of same type of atoms, whereas a compound is made of different elements in definite proportions. Examples of elements include iron, copper, hydrogen and oxygen. Examples of compounds include water (H2O) and salt (Sodium Chloride - NaCl)

What is the opposite force to pushing off the ground to jump?
Fed [463]

Answer:

Newton's Third Law of Motion states that to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. When the earth pushes on you to send you into the air after jumping, you also push on the earth with the same force. But forces are different from accelerations. A force F is a push or pull on an object
