Answer:

<u>Einstein used Space-time as a physical interaction whereas Newton used the concept of gravity to explain the force between earth and the moon.</u>

<u>Explanation:</u>

The force between the earth and the moon or any two bodies which have mass is Gravitational force.

  • Einstein produced General Theory of Relativity, and it offered a very different explanation from Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation. <em>Einstein didn't believe gravity was a force at all; he said it was a distortion in the shape of space-time, otherwise known as "the fourth dimension".</em>

  • Newtonian physics states that <em>if there are no external forces at work, an object will always travel in the straightest possible line. </em>

  • Newton described gravity by principle of action at a distance meaning a field - gravitational field between the Earth and the moon and similarly and two bodies in the universe exist. this in turn responsible for gravitation forces between and two bodies.

  • <em>Einstein described gravity by suggesting that the space-time around any object is bent.</em> The degree of bent is corresponding to how massive is the object.

  • For example- Supposed you keep a plastic ball and an iron ball on a soft sofa. the space around the iron ball will naturally be bent more due to it been heavy. It is due to this bending that we feel that there is some sort of interaction between any two bodies. In short Einstein's explanation of gravity is more geometrical than actual physical interaction between any two objects.

4) A football player starts at the 40-yard line, and runs to the 25-yard line in 2 seconds.
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

(a). Their speed during that run is 10 m/s.

(b). Their velocity is 6.86 m/s

(c). The final position is at 8.91 m.

Explanation:

Given that,

A football player starts at the 40-yard line, and runs to the 25-yard line in 2 seconds.

Suppose, the distance between 40 yard line and 25 yard line is 20 yard.

(a). We need to calculate their speed during that run

Using formula of speed

v=\dfrac{d}{t}

Where. d = distance

t = time

Put the value into the formula

v=\dfrac{18.288}{2}

v=10\ m/sduring that run

(b). We need to calculate their velocity

Using formula of speed

v=\dfrac{\Delta d}{\Delta t}

Put the value into the formula

v=\dfrac{22.86-36.58}{2}

v=-6.86\ m/s

Negative sign shows the direction of motion.

(c). If they kept running at that velocity for another 1.3 seconds,

We need to calculate the final position

Using formula of position

d=vt

Put the value into the formula

d=6.86\times1.3

d=8.91\ m

Hence, (a). Their speed during that run is 10 m/s.

(b). Their velocity is 6.86 m/s

(c). The final position is at 8.91 m.

45. What is the wovelength of a 30. Hertz periodic
Leviafan [203]

The wavelength is 2m.

Hence, Option c) 2m is the correct answer

Given that;

Frequency; f = 30Hz

Speed; v = 60m/s

Wavelength; \lambda =\ ?

using the expression for the relations between wavelength, frequency and speed of wave:

\lambda = \frac{v}{f}

Where \lambda is wavelength, f is frequency and v is speed.

We substitute our given values into the equation

\lambda = \frac{60m/s}{30Hz}\\\\\lambda = \frac{60m/s}{30s^{-1}}\\\\\lambda = 2m

The wavelength is 2m.

Hence, Option c) 2m is the correct answer.
