The benefits include, the size of the country grew and provided territory for the westward expansion. The consequences included whether we should let the already natives of the state stay and the great bargain of it all. :) let me know if this helped at all

Answer: Harlem was develop with the American African culture and identity.  It was always a place where black people felt that they could celebrate their culture and their people.

But as many black people were influenced by some aspects of white culture, white people became interested in their culture, specially the Harlem too. The Harlem Renaissance left an impressive legacy of art, music, dance, literature, the intellect, philosophy, and perhaps most importantly, civil rights. Although the Renaissance was largely in Harlem, it spread to urban areas across the country.

The New Black embraced the ideology that African American culture and would be a reflection of black culture.
