Answer:

The correct answer is plastic.

Explanation:

To keep sandwiches cold as long as possible by putting them in a cooler the best material is plastic. The plastic is a thermal insulator used for different uses. One of them is to maintain the temperature in closed containers. Metal and aluminum allow the temperature to flow more easily and glass is not a suitable material for building the cooler.

d. The force is doubled and the object’s mass is halved? 18. ||| A man pulling an empty wagon causes it to accelerate at 1.4 m/s
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

a' = 0.35 m/s^2

Explanation:

Let say the empty wagon has mass "M"

now by newton's II Law we will have

F = Ma

now it is given that empty wagon is pulled with acceleration 1.4 m/s/s

now we will have

F = 1.4 M

now a child of mass three times the mass of wagon is sitting on the empty wagon

so here we have

F = (M + 3M) a

1.4 M = 4M a'

so we have

a' = 0.35 m/s^2

Statement that combines energy and mass into one law
inysia [295]

Answer:

The law of conservation of mass or principle of mass conservation

Explanation:

It states that for any system closed to all transfers of matter and energy, the mass of the system must remain constant over time, as the system's mass cannot change, so quantity can neither be added nor be removed.

Groups of students are making measurements of small cars rolling across a table. the class has measuring tapes with markings in
TiliK225 [7]

To find the accurate measurement of small cars, the teacher asks students to make all the measurements in centimeters.

Centimeters Measurements:

  • A centimeter is a metric unit of measurement used for measuring the length of an object, It is written as cm
  • Centimeter is one hundredth of a meter, 1 meter is 0.01 cm.

Inches measurements:

  • An inch can be defined as a unit of length in the customary system of measurement. Length in inches is either represented by in or ''.
  • 1 meter is equal to 39.37 inches

here, the cars are small objects.

The number of centimeters is always bigger,

because a centimeter unit is smaller than an inch unit, and it takes more of them when we are measuring.

Hence,

To find the accurate measurement of small cars, the teacher asks students to make all the measurements in centimeters.

A toy rocket is launched with an initial velocity of 12.0 m/s in the horizontal direction from the roof of a 30.0-m-tall buildin
OlgaM077 [116]

Solution :

The motion in the y direction.

The time taken by the toy rocket to hit the ground,

$S=ut+\frac{1}{2}at^2$

S = distance travelled = 30 m

u = 0 m/s

a = $9.8 \ m/sec^2$

t= time in seconds

Therefore, $30 =\frac{1}{2}9.8 t^2$

t = 2.47 sec

Now motion in the x direction,

u = 12 m/sec

$a=1.6 t \ m/sec^3$

Upon integration 'v' with respect to 't'

$v=\frac{1.6t^2}{2}+12$

Once again integrating with respect to t,

$s=\frac{1.6t^3}{6}+12 t$

$s=\frac{1.6(2.47)^3}{6}+12 (2.47)$

  = 0.0176+29.64

   = 29.65 m

Therefore, the toy rocket will hit the ground at 29.65 m from the building.
