Answer:

Option B is the answer - is basically an independent agency.

Explanation:

Just like some central banks of other countries, the Federal Reserve is an independent agency and it does not receive funding through the budgetary procedures of the congress. The congress structured the system in such a way that the agency would not be subject to political pressures. Their income emanate from the interests generated on government securities they obtained though various open market activities.

Why did the american army want to control breeds hill??<br>
olasank [31]

Answer:

Explanation:

If i remember correctly....

The Americans had gotten some information about the British wanting to take the hills for a tactical advantage. Of course I think both sides knew the advantage the other side would have if they had control of the hills. They were sent to Bunker Hill and made a mistake and ended up on Breeds hill, closer to where the British were positioned.

Anyways, I think it was more of Americans had to beat the British to it so the British didn't have the upper hand and the British had to take down the Americans, thinking they were going to shoot canons off the hill towards their troops and ships.

Hope this helps a little bit!

What is Liberty?

In general, liberty is defined as the capacity to act as one pleases or as a right or immunity acquired through prescription or grant (i.e. privilege). [1] It is another word meaning freedom. In contemporary politics, negative liberty is defined as the condition of being free from coercive controls placed by authority on one's behavior, way of life, or political beliefs within society; While positive liberty is defined as having the ability and resources to act in a way that transcends the disparities

These discrepancies between negative liberty and positive liberty in philosophy necessitate distinctions on the causal relationships that separate free will from determinism.

Which term is associated with this scenario?
Greeley [361]

Answer:

B. Vertical mobility.

Explanation:

In vertical mobility, you move up or down in the hierarchy of a certain field or any kind. For example, a factory worker who enrolls in college and becomes an international businessman. Therefore, vertical mobility refers to a person or group's movement up or down a status hierarchy. As many people know, in Arab countries there was a very strong sexist community and women could not perform many tasks apart from the household chores, and now we can see through this example how women are taking higher positions and being valued for what they have studied or learned and the community is leaving behind gender discrimination little by little.
