Explanation:

A transducer is the electronic device which use  converts a signal from one form of energy to another form of the energy.

The differences between active and passive transducers are:

  • An active transducer produce output without use of any external power source, whereas an passive transducer requires external power source for its working.

  • The resolution of a passive transducer is higher than an active transducer.

  • The design of passive transducer is much complicated than an active transducer.

sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

A reactor is a piece of equipment in which the feedstock is converted to the desired product. Reactors are chosen such that they meet the requirements imposed by the reaction mechanisms, rate expressions, and the required production capacity. Other parameters that must be determined to choose the correct type of reactor are reaction heat, reaction rate constant, heat transfer coefficient, and reactor size. Reactors that are free of the effect of the macro-kinetic properties are classified as: batch isothermal perfectly stirred reactor, batch adiabatic perfectly stirred reactor, semi-batch perfectly stirred reactor, continuous isothermal perfectly stirred reactor flow reactor, continuous adiabatic perfectly stirred flow reactor, continuous isothermal plug flow reactor, and continuous adiabatic plug flow reactor.

What is the mass in both slugs and kilograms of a 1000-lb beam?
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

31.1 slug,  453.4 Kg

Explanation:

given,

mass of the beam is 1000 lb

to convert mass of beam into slugs and kilograms.

1 lb is equal to 0.0311 slug

1000 lb = 1000 × 0.0311

             = 31.1 slug

now, conversion of lb into kg

1 lb is equal to 0.4534 kg

so,

1000 lb = 1000 × 0.4534

             = 453.4 Kg

hence, 1000 lb of beam in slugs is equal to 31.1 slugs and in kilo gram is 453.4 Kg.
