Buffalo Wings :
8 wings = $7
1 wing = $7 ÷ 8 = $0.875

Buffalo Mild Wings :
12 wings = $10
1 wing = $10 ÷ 12 = $0.833

Wingers:
20 wings = $17
1 wing = $0.85

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Answer: Buffalo Mild Wings has the cheapest price per wing.

It would be .88 cents. How I got my answer would be:

I divided 7 by 8

Then my answer came out to a decimal (.875) and I rounded up to the nearest whole cent

And I got .88

Pretty Pavers company is installing a driveway. Below is a diagram of the driveway they are
prohojiy [21]

Answer:

The most correct option is;

(B) 958.2 ft.²

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question, the dimension of each square = 3 ft.²

Therefore, the length of the sides of the square = √3 ft.

Based on the above dimensions, the dimension of the small semicircle is found by counting the number of square sides ti subtends as follows;

The dimension of the diameter of the small semicircle = 10·√3

Radius of the small semicircle = Diameter/2 = 10·√3/2 = 5·√3

Area of the small semicircle = (π·r²)/2 = (π×(5·√3)²)/2 = 117.81 ft.²

Similarly;

The dimension of the diameter of the large semicircle = 10·√3 + 2 × 6 × √3

∴ The dimension of the diameter of the large semicircle = 22·√3

Radius of the large semicircle = Diameter/2 = 22·√3/2 = 11·√3

Area of the large semicircle = (π·r²)/2 = (π×(11·√3)²)/2 = 570.2 ft.²

Area of rectangle = 11·√3 × 17·√3 = 561

Area, A of large semicircle cutting into the rectangle is found as follows;

A_{(segment \, of \, semicircle)} = \frac{1}{4} \times (\theta - sin\theta) \times r^2

Where:

\theta = 2\times tan^{-1}( \frac{The \, number \, of  \, vertical  \, squrare  \, sides  \ cut  \,  by  \  the  \  large  \,  semicircle}{The \, number \, of  \, horizontal \, squrare  \, sides  \ cut  \,  by  \  the  \  large  \,  semicircle} )

\therefore \theta = 2\times tan^{-1}( \frac{10\cdot \sqrt{3} }{5\cdot \sqrt{3}} ) = 2.214

Hence;

A_{(segment \, of \, semicircle)} = \frac{1}{4} \times (2.214 - sin2.214) \times (11\cdot\sqrt{3} )^2 = 128.3 \, ft^2

Therefore; t

The area covered by the pavers = 561 - 128.3 + 570.2 - 117.81 = 885.19 ft²

Therefor, the most correct option is (B) 958.2 ft.².

I need help with box and whisker plots ASAP
bonufazy [111]
Box and whiskers plots use five number summaries. The first number is:
1:Minimum
2.Quartile 1
3.Mean
4.Quartile 2
5.maximum

Quartile are simple to get.
If your set of numbers is:
2,3,3,6,8,8,11
Then find the mean
2 3 3 |6| 8 8 11
Find the mean of the left side of of mean.
2 |3| 3 3 =Quartile 1
Then the right side
8 |8| 11 8 =Quartile 2
-----------------------------------------------
Your 5 number summary is 2,3,6,8,11
Plot them on the number line, but put a line above where the dot would go. take the 3 middle lines and connect to make a box. The lines on the outside of the box are the whiskers, AKA distributed data.

Arlecino [84]

Answer:

The claim is rejected

Step-by-step explanation:

Claim: UCF is advertising their bachelor in Economics with the statistic that the starting salary of a graduate with a bachelor in economics is $ 48,500 according to Payscale (2013-13).

Null hypothesis: H_0: \mu = 48500

Alternate hypothesis :H_a : \mu \neq 48500

n = 50

Since n is more than 30 .

So we will use Z test

x=43350

Standard deviation = 15000

Z=\frac{x-\mu}{\frac{s}{\sqrt{n}}}\\Z=\frac{43350-48500}{\frac{15000}{\sqrt{50}}}\\Z=-2.42

Refer the z table

p value = 0.00776

\alpha = 0.01

p value < \alpha

So, We are failed to accept null hypothesis

Hence The claim is rejected
