I’m not sure what the options are, but something along the lines of, without deforestation, we wouldn’t be able to build cities, or settlements, which would halt our advancements in architecture.

If this doesn’t really help, just show me the options and we’ll figure it out :)

Consider the following three-step reaction pathway.
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

NO \longrightarrow N_2O_2 \longrightarrow N_2O \longrightarrow N2

Explanation:

The intermediates are the products of all the steps of the reaction pathway, with the exception of the last one. So the intermediates will be:

 • N2O2 from the first step
 • N2O from the second step

The list from reactant to final product:

NO \longrightarrow N_2O_2 \longrightarrow N_2O \longrightarrow N2

Note: the water is considered a by-product, given that is not the product of interest in this steps.

Use Boyle's Law to solve this problem: A gas has a volume of 10.0 L at a pressure of 4.0 atm. If the gas expands to 20.0 L, what
NARA [144]

Answer:

P₂ = 2 atm

Explanation:

Given data:

Initial volume = 10.0 L

Initial pressure = 4.0 atm

Final volume = 20.0 L

Final pressure = ?

Solution:

The given problem will be solved through the Boly's law,

"The volume of given amount of gas is inversely proportional to its pressure by keeping the temperature and number of moles constant"

Mathematical expression:

P₁V₁ = P₂V₂

P₁ = Initial pressure

V₁ = initial volume

P₂ = final pressure

V₂ = final volume

Now we will put the values in formula,

P₁V₁ = P₂V₂

4.0 atm × 10.0 L = P₂ × 20.0 L

P₂ = 40.0 atm. L/ 20.0 L

P₂ = 2 atm
