In general, according to the textbook, is "americanization" a positive and desirable experience for immigrant adolescents?
PolarNik [594]

In my opinion, Americanization can be both good and bad for young adolescents. It can help them become independent but it can also cause major issue with culture. The US had been the home of many cultures. There is a possibility that many of these adolescents might forget their cultural traditions and practices because they are more used to being American.

According to your textbook, the two most important factors affecting the credibility of a persuasive speaker are.
Alenkasestr [34]

A speaker's credibility is affected by two primary factors-competence and character.

What is factors-competence?

Following on from the preceding explanation, three elements influence students' competence, which will be investigated further. Teachers' instructional performance, students' learning satisfaction, and accomplishment motivation are among these aspects.

Competence is defined as your talent or aptitude in a particular field or subject, or being able to perform something well or being sane enough to face trial in court. A pianist's ability to play the piano skillfully is an example of competence.

Affective social competency is defined as effective communication of one's own affect, successful understanding and response to others' affective communications, and awareness, acceptance, and regulation of one's own affect.

What powers dynamics’s are demonstrated in the interactions between the two characters, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth
ehidna [41]

Answer:

The dynamics of power between Lady Macbeth and Macbeth are established when Macbeth exercises a certain power in his wife, due to the masculinity and the social roles between men and women within that society. However, it is clearly perceiving the moments that Lady Macbeth takes this power for herself and exerts a strong influence on her husband, due to her sagacity.

Explanation:

In "Macbeth", a play written by Shakespeare, we are introduced to Macbeth and his wife, Lady Macbeth. We can see a very close relationship between these two characters, where a strong power dynamic is established.

Although Macbeth exercises power over his wife, due to the man's social role as head of family and dominant of his wife, established in the society covered in the play. Macbeth loses that power several times during the narrative. This power is lost to his wife, Lady Macbeth, who manages to influence her husband to do all the acts she judges to be right, leading him to even ignore his own thoughts.

In short, we can say that Macbeth's power is established by her masculinity, while Lady Macbeth's power is established by her wit.

ella [17]

Answer:

George Washington was a man of extraordinary charisma and talent for leadership. The populace admired and respected him; his fellow soliders and officials did, too; he had dealings with outstanding people of his time who stood higher than he did intellectually level. Nevertheless, he was the leader.

According to a paper by reverend Richard C. Stazesky for the George Washington Club (2000) in Delaware , Washington´s leadership style shows the following characteristics:

- he had a vision of the cause that comprised ideas and goals that would not be changed no matter the circumstances;

- he was skillful in designing and creating an organizational culture that made possible the achievement of the leader´s vision and ideas;

- he was successful in gaining others for the cause by persuading them and by instilling in them his ideas, beliefs and values of his vision.

- as any other successful leader, he effectively combined in himself different roles to be played for the cause.
