A tsunami will move the furthest inland over what type of topography?
Licemer1 [7]
A tsunami is a sea wave usually generated by earthquake activity on the ocean floor. The earthquake has to be such that it displaces a massive amount of water thus triggering the wave. Tsunamis have more energy than a regular wave and so it will not break on the shore but can travel kilometers in land before doing so. Tsunamis will travel furthest on topography that is relatively flat or gently undulating like that of a coastal plain.

How has the decision in Miranda v. Arizona affected government powers and individual rights
yawa3891 [41]
Hello!

The decision in Miranda v. Arizona influenced the creation of the "Miranda Rights." This basically means that when a person is arrested, his/her rights must be read to him so that he understands them. Otherwise, the arrestee could accidentally self-incriminate or cause other similar problems for himself.

The Miranda rights include:
1. The right to remain silent
2. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law
3. The right to an attorney
4. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you

I hope this helps you! have a great day!
