1 mole of water contains 6.023×10^23 molecules of water !

so in each molecule, there are two hydrogen atoms , so ,

6.023×10^23×2 = 12.046×10^23

so in one mole there are 12.04×10^23 atoms of hydrogen
therefore in 12.6 moles, 12.04×12.6×10^23= 151.9×10^23

in standard form , 1.52 ×10^25 atoms of hydrogen ! ...answer !

12.6 moles x 2 atoms of H per molecule x (6.02* 10^23) = 1.517 x 10^25 atoms

Molecular chlorine and molecular fluorine combine to form a gaseous product. Under the same conditions of temperature and pressu
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

  • Cl F₃

Explanation:

1) Reactants:

The reactants are:

  • Molecular chlorine: this is a gas diatomic molecule, i.e. Cl₂ (g)

  • Molecular fluorine: this is also a gas diatomic molecule: F₂ (g)

2) Stoichiometric coefficients:

  • One volume of Cl₂ react with three volumes of F₂ means that the reaction is represented with coefficients 1 for Cl₂ and 3 for F₂. So, the reactant side of the chemical equation is:

        Cl₂ (g) + 3F₂ (g) →

3) Product:

  • It is said that the reaction yields two volumes of a gaseous product; then, a mass balance indicates that the two volumes must contain 2 parts of Cl and 6 parts of F. So, one volume must contain 1 part of Cl and 3 parts of F. That is easy to see in the complete chemical equation:

       Cl₂ (g) + 3F₂ (g) → 2Cl F₃ (g)

        As you see, that last equation si balanced: 2 atoms of Cl and 6 atoms of F on each side, and you conclude that the formula of the product is ClF₃.

Calculate the mass of sodium phosphate in aqueous solution to fully react with 37 g of chromium nitrate(III) an aqueous solution
Alla [95]

Answer:

41 g

Explanation:

The equation of the reaction is;

Cr(NO3)3(aq)+Na3PO4(aq)=3NaNO3(s)+CrPO4(aq)

Number of moles of chromium nitrate = 37g/ 146.97 g/mol = 0.25 moles

1 mole of sodium phosphate reacts with 1 mole of chromium nitrate

x moles of sodium phosphate react as with 0.25 moles of chromium nitrate

x= 1 × 0.25/1

x= 0.25 moles

Mass of sodium phosphate = 0.25 moles × 163.94 g/mol

Mass of sodium phosphate = 41 g

Balanced nuclear equation, what two things must be conserved
In-s [12.5K]
If you only want to balance nuclear reactions, then you should know that number of nucleons are conserved before and after nuclear reaction. Also, charge is conserved as well.
Other things which are conserved in a nuclear reaction are:
Conservation of:
1. Parity
2. Spin
3. angular momentum(vector sum of intrinsic spin and orbital angular momentum)
4. linear momentum
5. Isotopic spin
6. Energy
