No, they're not equivalent....... i suggest a calculator for this kind of math, just divide the first number by the last and compare them, like this 36/4=9, 56/7=8

And times it
By 5 then you wanna take the 5. - 2 2/5.< (deniminator) and times it by 3.
____ Your common denominator is 15

now it will look like this
