<u>THIS </u><u>IS </u><u>VERY </u><u>EASY</u><u>.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u>

<u>THE </u><u>PAIR </u><u>OF </u><u>SHOES </u><u>ARE </u><u>10 </u><u>BECAUSE </u><u>WITH </u><u>THE </u><u>THREE </u><u>PAIRS, </u><u>IT </u><u>ALL </u><u>ADDS </u><u>UP </u><u>AS </u><u>30.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u>

<u>IF </u><u>ONE </u><u>SHOE </u><u>IS </u><u>10</u><u>,</u><u> </u><u>WE </u><u>HAVE</u><u> </u><u>10 </u><u>LEFT </u><u>IN </u><u>ORDER </u><u>TO </u><u>MEET </u><u>THE </u><u>TOTAL </u><u>OF </u><u>20.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u><u>THEREFORE</u><u>,</u><u> </u><u>THE </u><u>MAN </u><u> </u><u>IS </u><u>5.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u><u> </u><u>ALSO</u><u>,</u><u> </u><u>IF</u><u> </u><u>A </u><u>MAN </u><u>IS </u><u>5,</u><u> </u><u>T</u><u>H</u><u>E</u><u>N</u><u> </u><u>BOTH</u><u> </u><u>MEN </u><u>WILL </u><u>BE</u><u> </u><u>A </u><u>TOTAL </u><u>OF </u><u>1</u><u>0</u><u> </u><u>AND </u><u>SINCE </u><u>A </u><u>PAIR </u><u>OF </u><u>SHOES </u><u>IS </u><u>EQUAL </u><u>TO </u><u>10,</u><u> </u><u>THE </u><u>TOTAL </u><u>IS </u><u>SET </u><u>TO </u><u>20.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u>

<u>AS </u><u>I </u><u>SAID </u><u>BEFORE, </u><u>A </u><u>MAN </u><u>IS </u><u>5</u><u> </u><u>AND </u><u> </u><u>WE </u><u>HAVE</u><u> </u><u>TO </u><u>KNOW </u><u>THE </u><u>AMOUNTS </u><u>FOR </u><u>THE </u><u>TIES </u><u>(</u><u>IDK </u><u>WHAT </u><u>TO </u><u>CALL </u><u>IT.</u><u>.</u><u>. </u><u>GUESS </u><u>IT'S </u><u>TIES.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u><u>) </u><u>BUT</u><u>,</u><u> </u><u>WE </u><u>HAVE </u><u>TO </u><u>FI</u><u>N</u><u>D </u><u>THE </u><u>VALUE </u><u>FOR </u><u>THE </u><u>TIE</u><u>.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u><u> </u><u>I </u><u>JUST </u><u>SOLVED </u><u>IT </u><u>AN</u><u>D</u><u> </u><u>THE</u><u> </u><u>TIE</u><u> </u><u>IS </u><u>4.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u><u> </u><u>WHEREAS, </u><u>A </u><u>MAN, </u><u>AND </u><u>THE </u><u>TIES </u><u>ADD </u><u>UP </u><u>TO </u><u>13 </u><u>(</u><u>5 </u><u>+</u><u> </u><u>4 </u><u>+</u><u> </u><u>4</u><u>)</u>

<u>NOW </u><u>WE </u><u>KNOW </u><u>ALL </u><u>THE </u><u>VALUES </u><u>OF </u><u>THE </u><u>OBJECTS.</u><u>.</u><u>. </u><u>SO </u><u>WE </u><u>CAN </u><u>EASILY </u><u>SOLVE </u><u>THIS.</u><u>.</u><u>. </u><u>SHOES </u><u>ARE </u><u>10,</u><u> </u><u>T</u><u>H</u><u>E</u><u> </u><u>MAN</u><u> </u><u>IS </u><u>5 </u><u>AND </u><u>THE </u><u>TIES </u><u>ARE </u><u>4,</u><u> </u><u>THESE </u><u>ADD </u><u>UP </u><u>TO </u><u>A </u><u>TOTAL </u><u>OF </u><u>19.</u><u>.</u><u>.</u>

Shoes= 10

Man= 5

Tie= 4

So, 10+5*4= 30 <— Answer

How to get variables:

Shoes:

3 shoes are equal to 30, so to find the value of the shoes use 3x=30. X=10

Man:

2 men and a shoe is equal to 20. So, 2x+10=20

2x=10

X=5

Tie:

2 ties and a man are 13. So,

2x+5=13

2x=8

X=4

Valerie has a circular garden. The radius of the garden is 4 feet. She wants to buy edging to outline her circular garden.Which
ss7ja [257]
You'd need to find the distance AROUND the garden, which is also PERIMETER.

To find the perimeter of a circle, you use the following equation:
2 \pi r

2 \pi (4) = 8 \pi

8 \pi = 25.13 ft

I don't know what your answer options are, but chose the option closest to 25.13 ft
