Minutes(m)              Cost
0                                  20
10                                22
20                                24
50                                30

slope formula:
m = (y1 - y2) / (x1 - x2)
m = (20 - 22) / (0 - 10) = -2/-10 = 1/5 or 0.20

y = (1/5)(x) + 20

The rule that describes Amy's monthly cost is:
m = 1/5x + 20 or m = 0.20x + 20

Where x is the number of minutes spent on the call.

Blue cassettes hold 45 minutes of music. Green cassettes hold 55 minutes of music. If Niko has 16 cassettes containing 830 minut
Aneli [31]
B + g = 16.....b = 16 - g
45b + 55g = 830

45(16 - g) + 55g = 830
720 - 45g + 55g = 830
-45g + 55g = 830 - 720
10g = 110
g = 110/10
g = 11 <=== there are 11 green cassettes

b + g = 16
b + 11 = 16
b = 16 - 11
b = 5 <=== there are 5 blue cassettes

Find the ratio a:c if <br>a:b = 1:2, b:d = 4:5, d:c = 3:1<br>
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

a : c = 6 : 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Expressing the ratios in fractional form, then

\frac{a}{c} = \frac{a}{b} × \frac{b}{d} × \frac{d}{c} = \frac{1}{2} × \frac{4}{5} × \frac{3}{1} = \frac{12}{10} = \frac{6}{5}

Thus a : c = 6 : 5
