Okay so i am no math genius but i did it like this, 30 strawberries and 50 grapes would be 80 fruits. say all 5 people got an equal amount so 80/5=16. so 16 pieces would be 8 each so 8 strawberries(sb) and 8 grapes(g). sb= 6 calories and g=3 calories. 48 calories for sb and 24 for g. 72 calories each. unless i did this totally wrong

Answer:

it's 66 calories

Step-by-step explanation:

G 1) a2 + 3a – 40 = 0 .<br> solving quadratic equations
QveST [7]

Answer:

The solution set is {-8, 5}.

Step-by-step explanation:

a^2 + 3a – 40 = 0 .

We need 2 numbers whose product is  -40 and whose sum is +3.

They would be + 8 and - 5, so we have the factors:

(a + 8)(a - 5) = 0

Now either a + 8 = 0 or a - 5 = 0, so:

a = -8 or 5.

I need help please with step by step it would help me a lot
pav-90 [236]

Answer:

Domain: (-infinity, +infinity) since you can pick any x values.

Range: [0, +infinity) since it does not go below the x axis.

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph is a parabola given by y=x^2

lets pick a few x values:

x = 1 gives us y = 1^2, which = 1

x = -1 gives us y = (-1)^2, which = 1

The parabola's domain is any x value as it extends to infinity.

For its range, you can see that it does not go below the x axis at x = 0. Therefore, the range of the parabola is from [0, infinity]
