Miko walked a distance of 1.60 km in 30 min. Find her average speed in m/s.

Distance travelled = 1.6km = 1600m

Time taken = 30min = 30*60 = 1800s.

speed = distance/time = 1600/1800 = 0.89m/s

What is the total area of the figure below?
faltersainse [42]

Step-by-step explanation:

As we know that,

In area of triangle , breadth =6inch,similarily ,height =8inch

now ,

Area of triangle = 1/2 ×b×h

= 1/2 × 8 ×6

=24inch^2

also,

In another figure,we can say

a=10 inch,b=16 inch and h=9 inch

similarly,

Area of trapizium = 1/2 h(a+b)

= 1/2 ×9(10+16)

=9/2 ×26

=9×13

=117inch^2

now ,

total area of figure =117 +24 =141inch^2

therefore,total area of figure is 141 inch^2

Joe plotted the points (2, 0.5), (1, 1), and (0.5, 2), and claimed that these points represent an inverse variation relationship
Kobotan [32]
Xy = 1 for all points.

We are going to demonstrate this affirmation:
(2) * (0.5) = 1
(1) * (1) = 1
(0.5) * (2) = 1
Therefore, the relationship between the ordered pairs is inverse.
The relationship between the ordered pairs is:
y = 1 / x

Answer:
xy = 1 for all points.

If a multiple-choice test consists of 5 questions, each with 4 possible answers of which only 1 is correct, (a) in how many diff
sp2606 [1]

The different ways can a student check off one answer to each question is 1024.

It is required to find the different ways can a student check off one answer to each question.

What is probability?

probability is the ratio of the number of favorable outcomes and the total number of possible outcomes. The chance that a particular event (or set of events) will occur expressed on a linear scale from 0 (impossibility) to 1 (certainty), also expressed as a percentage between 0 and 100%.

Given:

If a multiple choice test consists of 5 questions each with 4 possible answers of which only one is correct,

,To find how many different ways can a student check off one answer to each question we have,

: 4^5 = 2^10

= 1024

Therefore, the different ways can a student check off one answer to each question is 1024.

Brut [27]

Answer:

x = 9.889

Step-by-step explanation:

9 ( 2x + 1 ) - 187 = 0

18x + 9 = 187

18x = 178

x = 9.889

Factor the expression below.
16x^2-49
zysi [14]

Answer:

(4x + 7) (4x - 7)

Step-by-step explanation:

16x^2 will be broken down to 4x and 4x since when you multiply them, it will equal 16x^2

Then -49 can be broken down to 7 & -7 since 7 x (-7) = -49
