KE = 1/2mv^2

1. Find velocity:
8.0 + 6.1 = 14.1 m/s

2. Plug and Chug
KE = 1/2mv^2
KE = 1/2(75g)(14.1 m/s)^2
KE = 7,455.375 Joules

Your friend states in a report that the average time required to circle a 1.0-mi track was 49.325 s. This was measured by timing
Alenkasestr [34]
I'm very skeptical about the accuracy and reliability of his results.
I need to know more about the situation.

First of all, I need to know HOW the track was circled.
Was it by foot ?  By car ?  By horse ?  By a dog ?

-- The current men's world record in the Mile Run
    is 3 minutes 43 seconds.

-- My friend reported research showing that it really
   only requires about 22% of that much time.

-- His data and his methods need some peer review.

(b) Cable of a microwave oven has three wires inside it which have insulation of different colours black, green and red. Mention
MakcuM [25]
The green is ground.  Ideally, no current travels in this one.  The red and black are the power and neutral wires but which colors they are depends on a convention.  In the US, you will actually have a black (power) and a white (neutral)  Here it's red and black and usually in a red/black system the red is the power.  Either way there is a potential of 120V rms between them.

Suppose that a submarine inadvertently sinks to the bottom of the ocean at a depth of 1000m. It is proposed to lower a diving be
Rudik [331]

Answer:

P=10.04Mpa

Explanation:

the minimum air pressure must be equal to the water pressure at that depth, to calculate the pressure we can use the following equation

P=hgρ

where

h=depth=1000m

g=gravity=9.81m/s^2

ρ=density=1.024g/cm^3=1024kg/m^3

P=pressure

P=(1000)(9.81)(1024)=10045440Pa=10.04Mpa
