Here’s another way to think about the number line model for 2 – (-3): if we were adding 2 + (-3), we’d first move two units to t

he right. Then, we’d move three units to the left, because we move left when adding negative integers. But instead, we’re subtracting -3. Addition and subtraction are inverse operations, or opposite operations; they undo one another. So we move in the opposite direction, right, and end up with a sum of 5. As a result, the number line models for 2 – (-3) and 2 + 3 are identical. This shows that subtracting a negative integer is the same as adding a positive integer.

It would be on both planes. When two planes intersect, they form a line along the points at which the two exist in the same place. Point V is said to exist along line s, which came from the intersection of the planes. This means that the point belongs to both of them.

Solve for the value of y.
60°
(8y-2)
rusak2 [61]
Since it's a right angle the sum of the two angles equals 90°
(8y-2)°+60°=90°
8y-2=90-60
8y-2=30
8y=30+2
8y=32
y=32/8
y=4
