Answer:

D. 0.1

Explanation:

Using transformer equation,

N2/N1 = I1/I2................... Equation 1

Where N2 = secondary coil, N1 = primary coil, I1 = input current, I2 = output current.

make I2  the subject of the equation

I2 = I1/(N2/N1)............ Equation 2

From equation 2 above, For the output current of the secondary coil to be 10 times the input current, N2/N1 = 0.1

Hence the right option is D. 0.1

Answer: a) 0.11 Amp b) 0.000429 Joules c) 0.000514 watt

Explanation:

a)current

I=V/r I=6.0/550 =1.1*10^-2 A

b) energy

E= 1.1*10^-2 x (6.0) x 0.00065s(<-- remember to convert ms to seconds) = 0.000429J

C) Average power

P = (0.000429 x 72) / 60

P = 0.000514 W

What will happen when a light bulb is removed from the circuit below, leaving a gap?
Charra [1.4K]

Answer:

The remaining light bulbs will go out.

Explanation:

The light bulb that was taken out routed power to the other light bulbs, there for, not giving power to the next light bulbs will make them turn off or, "go out". This may be incorrect, as you did not provide a picture of the circuit.

How can a heavy moving van have the same momentum as a small motorcycle?
vladimir1956 [14]
Hello there!

The formula for momentum is p=mv.
p is momentum, m is mass, and v is velocity.

The mass of a heavy moving van will be much greater than the mass of a motorcycle, so how can they have the same momentum?

They can have the same momentum if the velocity of the moving van is less than the velocity of the motorcycle, or if the velocity of the motorcycle is greater than the moving van (same thing but differently worded)

Let the mass of the moving van be greater than the mass of the motorcycle by a factor of k. In order for the two to have the same momentum, the velocity of the motorcycle must be greater than the velocity of the moving van by the same factor, k.

Hope this helps! :)
