Let say the circle is of radius R

then one lap is means the total distance the total length of the circle

here the length of circle is same as circumference

so it is given as

L = 2\pi R

So here the length of lap is given as length of circle which is given as above

An object taking one lap around the circle will be covering a distance equal to the circumference of the circle.

Explanation

1 lap around a circle means one complete rotation of a track which is circular. So the distance covered in covering one complete circle will be equal to the circle circumference.

Let us consider, R as the circle radius, then the distance covered by an object for a single lap will be equal to the circle circumference which is equal to 2πR.

1. Suppose you're working at a constant temperature , when you exert more pressure on an object
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

Decrease

Explanation:

Working at a constant temperature when more pressure is exerted, the volume decreases.

This is known as Boyle's law.

 According to Boyle's law;

       "the volume of a fixed mass of a gas varies inversely as the pressure changes, if the temperature is constant".

  Mathematically;

          P₁V₁  = P₂V₂

P and V are pressure and volume

1 and 2 are initial and final states.

Two diamonds begin a free fall from rest and from the same height 1 second apart.
Bumek [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

let t be time since the second diamond is released

a) y = ½g(t + 1)²

b) y' = ½g(t)²

c)

25 = ½g(t + 1)² - ½gt²

25 = ½g(t² + 2t + 1) - ½gt²

25 = ½gt² + gt + ½g - ½gt²

25 = g(t + ½)

t + ½ = 25 / g

t = (25 / g) - ½

t = (25 / 9.8) - ½

t = 2.05102... ≈ 2.1 s

If a 1.00 kg body has an acceleration of 2.44 m/s2 at 53° to the positive direction of the x axis, then what are (a) the x comp
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

(a) Fx = 1.464 N

(b) Fy = 1.952 N

(c) F(x, y) = 1.464 i + 1.952 j

Given

Mass = 1kg

Acceleration = 2.44 m/s2

Angle with positive X axis = 53°

As we know

F = ma

By substituting value

F= 1×2.44 N

F= 2.44 N

(a)   Component of force in X direction

Fx = F Cosθ

Fx = 2.44 Cos(53°)

Fx = 2.44 × 0.60 = 1.464 N

(b) Component of force in Y direction

Fy = F Sinθ

Fy = 2.44 Sin(53°) = 2.44 × 0.80 = 1.952 N

(c) Net force in vector notation

F(x, y) = 1.464 i + 1.952 j

Thus we got net force.
