Let say the circle is of radius R

then one lap is means the total distance the total length of the circle

here the length of circle is same as circumference

so it is given as

L = 2\pi R

So here the length of lap is given as length of circle which is given as above

An object taking one lap around the circle will be covering a distance equal to the circumference of the circle.

Explanation

1 lap around a circle means one complete rotation of a track which is circular. So the distance covered in covering one complete circle will be equal to the circle circumference.

Let us consider, R as the circle radius, then the distance covered by an object for a single lap will be equal to the circle circumference which is equal to 2πR.

Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

C. Electric energy

Explanation:

A generator is designed to convert chemical energy to mechanical energy  and them electrical energy.

  • It is an alternate source of electricity for most homes and industrial establishments.
  • The source of energy for the generator is a fuel usually fossil fuels.
  • This energy source is ignited and it produces heat energy which drives the motion of the pistons in the set.
  • As the piston moves, an magnetic field is cut through by a conducting wire.
  • This inducts the production of currents.

KIM [24]
The work performed on an object is the force multiplied by the distance it is moved, provided the movement is parallel to the force.  Since that is the case here, we can get the work by W=Fd=1900N x 0.23m = 437J.  This energy is used to split the wood.
