Answer:

1-chloro-cycohexene

Explanation:

In this reaction mechanism, the ethoxide will take an hydrogen from carbon 2 forming ethanol. At the same time the bond electrons left behind by the hydrogen will form a double bond with the carbon 1 and the the methyl will be eliminated with irs electrons from the bond forming ethoxide.

In conclution we will have one possible product: 1-chloro-cycohexene

How many grams of aluminum are required to give a total dislocation length of 3,000 miles (enough to stretch from New York City
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

0.13 g

Explanation:

mass of aluminum required = ( Dislocation length) / ( Dislocation density) × (density of metal)

3000 miles to cm ( 1 mile = 160934 cm) = 3000 miles × 160934 cm / 1 mile = 482802000 cm

density of Aluminium = 2.7 g /cm³

dislocation density of aluminum = 10¹⁰ cm³

mass of aluminum required = (482802000 cm × 2.7 g/cm³) / 10¹⁰ cm³ = 0.13 g

True/False –Similar to liquids, gases cannot be compressed.
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

A liquid has a definite shape and takes on the volume of its container. A gas has both the shape and the volume of its container. The particles in a gas cannot be compressed into a smaller volume. Liquids tend to contract when heated.

Hope this helps

Fluorine-18 is produced by reacting oxygen-18 with a proton, 11p. The products of this reaction are fluorine-18, a neutron, and
Tanya [424]

₈O¹⁸ + ₁¹H(proton) ⇒ ₉F¹⁸ + ₀n¹(neutron) + ₀γ⁰ (gamma)

Further explanation

Given

Fluorine-18

Oxygen-18

Required

Nuclear equation

Solution

Radioactivity is the process of unstable isotopes to stable isotopes by decay, by emitting certain particles,

 • alpha α particles ₂He⁴
 • beta β ₋₁e⁰ particles
 • gamma particles ₀γ⁰
 • positron particles ₁e⁰
 • neutron ₀n¹

The principle used is the sum of the atomic number and mass number before and after the decay reaction is the same

The reaction

₈O¹⁸ + ₁¹H(proton) ⇒ ₉F¹⁸ + ₀n¹(neutron) + ₀γ⁰ (gamma)
