Answer:

Molecular weight of nicotine is 162 g/mol

Explanation:

Osmotic pressure (\pi) for nonelectrolyte is expressed as-

                                    \pi =CRT

where C is molarity of solution, R is gas constant and T is temperature in Kelvin scale.

If molecular weight of nicotine is W g/mol then number of moles of nicotine present in solution is equal to \frac{0.60}{W} moles

So, molarity (C) of solution = \frac{0.60\times 1000}{W\times 12}M

R is equal to 0.082 L.atm/(mol.K), T is 298 K and \pi) is 7.55 atm

So, 7.55=(\frac{0.60\times 1000}{W\times 12})\times (0.082)\times (298)

or, W = 162

So molecular weight of nicotine is 162 g/mol

kkurt [141]
The equation is as follow,

<span>                                  HBr </span>₍aq₎  +  H₂O ₍l₎    →

Solution:
             HBr being strong acid with Ka value of 1.0 × 10⁹. When HBr is added to water, water acts as a base and HBr acts as a acid. Water picks the proton (H⁺) from HBr and converts into Conjugate acid (H₃O⁺) ahile HBr is converted into Conjugate Base (Br⁻) after loosing proton. The equation for this reaction is as follow,

                      HBr ₍aq₎  +  H₂O ₍l₎    →    H₃O⁺ ₍aq₎  +  Br⁻ ₍aq₎

What would happen to the rate of a reaction with rate law rate = k [NO]^2[H2] if
Ede4ka [16]

The rate of a reaction would be one-fourth.

<h3>Further explanation</h3>

Given

Rate law-r₁ = k [NO]²[H2]

Required

The rate of a reaction

Solution

The reaction rate (v) shows the change in the concentration of the substance (changes in addition to concentrations for reaction products or changes in concentration reduction for reactants) per unit time.

Can be formulated:

Reaction: aA ---> bB

\large{\boxed{\boxed{\bold{v~=~-\frac{\Delta A}{\Delta t}}}}

or

\large{\boxed{\boxed{\bold{v~=~+\frac{\Delta B}{\Delta t}}}}

The concentration of NO were halved, so the rate :

\tt r_2=k[\dfrac{1}{2}No]^2[H_2]\\\\r_2=\dfrac{1}{4}k.[No]^2[H_2]\\\\r_2=\dfrac{1}{4}r_1
