Answer and Explanation:

The inertial reference frame is one with constant velocity or non-accelerated frame of reference.

The value of acceleration and velocity change will vary in the two frames and will not be same.

As in case, we observe the acceleration and velocity of a moving train from the platform and the one observed in the train itself will be different.

In case of energy, it is dependent on the frame of reference but the energy change is independent of the frame of reference.

A marathon runner runs at a steady 15 km/hr. When the runner is 7.5 km from the finish, a bird begins flying from the runner to
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

The value is D =  15 \  km

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The  speed of the marathon runner is  v = 15 \ km /hr

   The distance from the distance from the finish is  d = 7.5 \ km

   The  speed of the bird is  v_b = 30 \ km / hr

  Generally the time taken for the runner to reach the finish is mathematically represented as

       t =  \frac{d}{v}

       t =  \frac{7.5}{15}

        t =  \frac{1}{2}

So the distance covered by the bird is

      D =  v_b  *  t

      D =  30  *  \frac{1}{2}

         D =  15 \  km

If A.B=A.C<br>does this imply that B must be equal to c ? <br>I need answer with example please
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

Consider\ three\ variables\ a,b\ and\ c.\\If,\\ab=ac\\a*b=a*c\\We\ may\ now\ divide\ the\ LHS\ and\ RHS\ by\ a,\\Hence,\\\frac{a*b}{a} =\frac{a*c}{a}\\Hence,\\b=c

Ex: \\Consider\ a=5, b=6.\\Hence\ if,\\a*b=a*c\\5*6=5*c\\Hence,\\30=5c\\Hence, c=\frac{30}{5}\\c=6\\As\ b\ also\ equals\ to\ 6,\\b=c

Which item(s) would be sufficient to make a circuit?
masya89 [10]

Explanation :

A circuit is the representation of the path of the flow of current. The circuit can be either closed or open.

When the switch is off the circuit is closed circuit and when the switch is not connected the circuit is open.

The items that are sufficient to make a circuit are as follows :

  • Voltage source like a battery.
  • Resistors or electrical equipment like heater, motor etc.

Other components can be ammeter, voltmeter, ac source, variable resistors etc.

9. You drive a car from Milwaukee to Chicago, which is a distance of 150km and it takes you 95
Katena32 [7]

For this case we have to, by definition:

v = \frac {x} {t}

Where:

v: It's the velocity

x: It is the distance traveled

t: It is the time spent

1 hour equals 60 minutes and 1 minute equals 60 seconds.

On the other hand:

1 kilometer equals 1000 meters

So:\frac {150} {95} \frac{km} {min} * \frac {1} {60} \frac {min} {sec} * \frac {1000} {1} \frac {m} {km} = \frac {150 * 1000} {95 * 60} \frac {m} {sec} = \frac {15000} {5700} \frac {m} {sec} = 2.63 \frac {m} {sec}

On the other hand:\frac {150} {95} \frac{km} {min} * \frac {60} {1} \frac {min} {hr} = \frac {150 * 60} {95} \frac {km} {h} = 94.74 \frac {km} {h}

ANswer:

2.63 \frac {m} {sec}\\94.74 \frac {km} {h}
