Answer:

Given Expression : 5(4x+2)\div7y

5(4x+2)\div7y=20x+10\div7y

We have to give example of Sum , Term , Product , Factor , Quotient and Coefficient

Sum : addition of 4x & 2 .i.e., 4x + 2

Term: Term can be a single number , variable, or the product of both.

          for Ex- 7y , 20x , 10

Product: Multiplication of 5 & (4x+2) , Multiplication of 4 & x

               and Multiplication of 7 & y

Factor: factor is a part of product.

            factor of term 7y = 7 & y

            factor of term 20y = 5 , 2, 2 & y

            factor of term 10 = 5 & 2

Quotient: 20x+10\div7y=\frac{5(4x+2)}{7y}

Coefficient: Coefficient of a term is a number which is in product with variable. for ex,

                     Coefficient of 7y = 7

                     Coefficient of 20x = 20

                     Coefficient of 10 = 10

Which equations have a negative solution?
UNO [17]
A. w= -22 so A has a negative solution. D doesn't have a variable so I'm not sure about it (did you type it correctly?), but because only one side of the equation has a negative number, I'm guessing D is also a negative solution

Determine the center and radius of the following circle equation:
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

(6, 9 ) and r = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a circle in standard form is

(x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²

where (h, k) are the coordinates of the centre and r is the radius

Given

x² + y² - 12x - 18y + 108 = 0

Rearrange the x- terms and the y- terms together and subtract 108 from both sides, that is

x² - 12x + y² - 18y = - 108

To obtain standard form use the method of completing the square

add ( half the coefficient of the x and y terms )² to both sides

x² + 2(- 6)x + 36 + y² + 2(- 9)y + 81 = - 108 + 36 + 81

(x - 6)² + (y - 9)² = 9 ← in standard form

with centre = (6, 9 ) and r = \sqrt{9} = 3

Which of the following is equivalent to the expression 2/5 divided by 4 ?
erik [133]

Answer:

C) 2/5×1/4

Step-by-step explanation:

Dividing by a number is the same by multiplying by the reciprocal of the number.

For Example:

1/2 divided by 3 would be the same as 1/2 x 1/3

So for this problem we are given that 2/5 is divided by 4 which would be the same as 2/5 multiplied by the reciprocal of 4 which is 1/4 and thus the answer is option C which is 2/5×1/4
