A calorimeter contains 500 g of water at 25°C.....

the temperature of the water inside the calorimeter is 39.4°C.....

The specific heat of water is 4.18 J/g-°C.

energy needed to heat the water = specific heat * mass * temp difference

= 4.18 J/g-°C * 500 g * (39.4°C - 25°C)

= 4.18*500*14.4

= 30096J

or approx. 30kJ

Energy=specific heat of water x mass of water x water's temperatures

=4.18x500x(39.4-25)

=30096J

Answer:

Enzyme

Explanation:

An enzyme is an organic catalyst that speeds up a reaction but can be recovered unchanged.

Human lactase consists of 4092 amino acid groups and has a molar mass of about 280 000 u, so it has a complex structure.

A student uses a force of 46 Newtons to push her bike 57 meters. How much work has she done?
nordsb [41]

Answer:

The displacement is 0.05 meters. The angle between the upward force and the upward displacement is 0 degrees. The work for 1 push-up is approximately. W = 10 N * 0.05 m * cos 0 degrees = 0.5 Joules. If the squirrel does a total of 5.0 Joules of work, then it must have done about 10 push-ups.

The half-life of Zn-71 is 2.4 minutes. If one had 100.0 g at the beginning, how many grams would be left after 7.2 minutes has e
Alexxx [7]

7.2 / 2.4 = 3 half-lives

(1/2)3 = 0.125 (the amount remaining after 3 half-lives)

100.0 g x 0.125 = 12.5 g remaining
