Matthew will walk 3 \frac{1}{8} miles to the bus stop in 5 days.

So 3 1/8 because 5x5 = 25 divide it by 3 and you get roughly 24 with one left over so you put the one left over in a fraction hence 1/8

What is an equation of the line that passes through the point (-5,3)(−5,3) and is parallel to the line 3x-5y=303x−5y=30?
rosijanka [135]

The equation of the line which passes through the point (-5, 3) and is parallel to the equation 3x -5y = 30 is; 3x -5y = 30.

<h3>What is the equation of the line?</h3>

Since the line is parallel to the given line; 3x -5y = 30 whose slope is; 3/5.

Hence, since the two lines have equal slopes;

3/5 = (y-3)/(x-(-5))

3/5 = (y-3)/(x+5)

5y -15 = 3x +15

3x -5y = 30
