The body already produces enough protein to get by just fine. However, many people think athletes "use up" too much protein and faster than they gain it back, but that is not true because the body regulates homeostasis. I hope I helped :)
One injury would be an arm breaking. What led up to it was in basketball, when I went up for a layup and fell over somebody on the side of my arm (palm facing up). In order to prevent this, I could have passed the ball instead of taking the shot like I did. I had little control over the situation because once I had gone up for the shot, there wasn’t a way to back out of what was going to happen because everything was in place as it was. Not many other people affected this injury. The only person who may have affected it was the person I fell over, because he and I could very well have been injured, but he was fine after that.
