Answer:3.6

Explanation:

Given

Architect decide to double the width

length increases by 50 percent

height increases by 20 percent

Let L,B,H be length,height and width of rectangular room

L'=1.5L

B'=2B

H'=1.2H

therefore new volume V'=L'\times B'\times H'

V'=1.5L\times 2B\times 1.2H

V'=3.6LBH

new volume is 3.6 times the original

Strike441 [17]

Answer:

33627.4 N/m

Explanation:

By Hook's law F = k x

where F= force applied

K= Spring constant

x= distance it compresses.

Since the force applied in this case will be the weight of the object that causes it to compress, so, the weight will be (175 * 9.8) = 1715N force which causes a compression (x) of 0.0510m.

So,

F = K x

K = F / x

K = 1715 / 0.0510

K = 33627N/m

A 750g aluminum pan is removed from the stove and plunged into a sink filled with 10.0kg of water at 20.0c. the water temperatur
spin [16.1K]
The concept that should be used here is that heat loss is equal to heat gain. In this item, the heat lost by the aluminum pan should be equal to the heat gained by water. Such that,
              750 g(0.215 cal/g°C)(T - 24) = (10000 g)(1 cal/g°C)(4°C)

The value of T from the equation is equal to 272°C.

Which types of landfrom would you prefer for living?why?
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

Landforms affect where people build houses and communities. Many people live on plains because it is easy to travel and to farm on flat land. Other people live in valleys, which are the land between mountains or hills. The soil in valleys is good for farming.
