In the interview with CHLOE ESTEROL, O2 says that if glucose can't enter The Cell, then cellular respiration would be affected.

Which of the following is not true regarding the connection between glucose, oxygen and cellular respiration?
I. Cellular respiration largely occurs in the rough endoplasmic reticulum.

II. Glucose is broken down completely, releasing energy used to synthesize ATP.

III. Oxygen must be present for cellular respiration to take place.

IV. The ATP produced from cellular respiration is used to power the cell's activities.

Answer:

I and V

Explanation:

All living organisms undergo the process of CELLULAR RESPIRATION, which is the metabolic process of breaking down glucose in order to release the stored energy in its bonds and convert them in usable form by the cell (ATP). Cellular respiration can be aerobic (presence of oxygen) or anaerobic (without oxygen). This process involves Glycolysis which is an initial step undergone by all organisms because it does not require oxygen. Glycolysis occurs in the cytoplasm of living cells in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes.

Aerobic cellular respiration further contains Kreb cycle and Oxidative phosphorylation which occurs in the mitochondria of eukaryotic cells. In a nutshell, glucose is broken down to produce ATP which the organism uses to power its life processes. water and Carbondioxide (CO2) are also released as byproducts.

The General equation for aerobic cellular respiration is as follows:

C6H12O6 + 6O2----> 6CO2 + 6H2O + ATP

Which sections of DNA are used in DNA fingerprinting?
hammer [34]
DNA fingerprinting is where DNA is used to create a profile for someone often in crimes. The STR or Short Tandem Repeats are used for this. STRs are non-coding sections of DNA which repeat themselves for example CACACACACACACACACACA the location of this STR and the length of the STR (how many times it repeats) are used to identify a specific person

Tema [17]
Binary fission is a type of asexual reproduction or rather an asexual reproduction common in most prokaryotes.
This function happens when the organism divides itself producing another replica of its genetic material and now altogether as the organism itself.
