Conductivity is the best way to test if an unknown object is either 3 because it can determine if an unknown object can conduct energy (metal and metalloid), can fairly conduct energy (metalloid), or cannot conduct energy (nonmetal).

2Al+6HBr -> 2AlBr3+3H2. When 3.22 moles of Al reacts with 4.96 moles of HBr, how many moles of H2 are formed?
Cerrena [4.2K]
2 Al+6 HBr = 2 AlBr₃ + 3 H₂

2 moles Al --------- 6 moles HBr ----------- 3 moles H₂
3.22 moles Al ------ 4.96 moles HBr ----- ( moles H₂ )

moles H₂ = 4.96 x 3 / 6

moles H₂ = 14.88 / 6

= 2.48 moles of H₂

hope this helps!

How much heat is absorbed during production of 136 g of NO by the combination of nitrogen and oxygen?
MaRussiya [10]
100.3kcal of heat will be absorbed. 2moles of NO absorb 43kcal. I mole of NO weighs 14 +16 = 30g so 2 moles weigh 60g. So 60g absorb 43kcal So 1g absorb 43/60 kcal So 136g absorb (43/60) x 136 = 97.47 kcal

Why are the oxidation and reduction half-reactions separated in an
electrochemical cell?
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

It makes the current viable enough to pass through an exterior wire.

Explanation:

Electrochemical cells primarily comprise of two half-cells. These half-cells assist in isolating the oxidation and reduction half-reactions. These two reactions are linked by a wire which allows the current to move from one edge to the other. The oxidation at the anode and the reduction take place at the cathode and the addition of a salt bridge helps in completing the circuit and permits the current to flow and leads to the generation of electricity.

!!Help!! The coefficients are missing from the skeleton equation: Cr + Fe(NO3)2 -> Fe + Cr(NO3)3. When balanced, the SUM of a
alexgriva [62]

Answer:

10.

Explanation:

Hello,

In this case, for the given reaction:

Cr + Fe(NO_3)_2 \rightarrow Fe + Cr(NO_3)_3

By knowing the law of conservation of mass must be respected, the following coefficients do balance the chemical equation:

2Cr + 3Fe(NO_3)_2 \rightarrow 3Fe + 2Cr(NO_3)_3

So the sum of all the coefficients is 10.

Regards.
