Although we talk about the velocity of an object in Uniform Circular Motion as being

Answer:

The speed is constant.

Speed is a scalar quantity (magnitude only).

Velocity is a vector quantity (magnitude and direction).

For an object in Uniform Circular Motion the change in velocity is always

directed towards the center of the circle, and this change of velocity

gives rise to the acceleration which is directed towards the center of

rotation. This is called the centripetal acceleration, and it is the centripetal

force (for instance the attraction of the moon towards the earth) which

produces the centripetal acceleration.

Answer:

The speed is constant.

Explanation:

In reality in circular motion the velocity is never constant because the object keeps changing direction in a continuous fashion. Remember velocity is measured by magnitude and direction. However we use the term constant velocity to mark constant speed for convenience.

If two measurements are very close to each other, then they are ____.
dimaraw [331]
I'd say b, precise, here.
If there's an error somewhere in the experiment or project, then it is consistently .... wrong. So, just 'cos you measure something precisely, it doesn't mean that you've measured it accurately. Maybe an example would be a measurement of length. If you used a metal ruler at zero degrees C, you can measure to say half a millimetre. A series of measurements of the same object would give very similar readings. But, if you used same metal ruler at, say 100 celsius (implausible) then you'd probably get a different set of readings. 'cos of the expansion of the metal ruler.

1. When does raising the temperature of a gas increase its pressure? when volume is increased and the number of particles is con
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

when volume and the number of particles are constant

Explanation:

Gay Lussac law states that when the volume of an ideal gas is kept constant, the pressure of the gas is directly proportional to the absolute temperature of the gas.

Mathematically, Gay Lussac's law is given by;

PT = K

\frac{P1}{T1} = \frac{P_{2}}{T_{2}}

The ideal gas law is the equation PV = nRT

Where;

P is the pressure.

V is the volume.

n is the number of moles of substance.

R is the ideal gas constant.

T is the temperature.

Generally, raising the temperature of an ideal gas would increase its pressure when volume and the number of particles are constant.

This ultimately implies that, when volume and the number of particles are held constant, there would be a linear relationship between the temperature and pressure of a gas i.e temperature would be directly proportional to the pressure of the gas. Thus, an increase in the temperature of the gas would cause an increase in the pressure of the gas at constant volume and number of particles.

The current in the wires of a circuit is 60 milliamps. If the resistance of the circuit were doubled (with no change in voltage)
anygoal [31]

Answer:30

Explanation:

Current=60 milliamps

Current=(voltage)/(resistance)

60=(voltage)/(resistance)

Doubling the resistance means multiplying both sides by 1/2

60x1/2=(voltage)/(resistance) x 1/2

30=(voltage)/2(resistance)

Therefore the resistance would be 30 milliamp if we double the resistance

Technician A says that OAT type coolant should be changed every 2 years. Technician B says that IAT type coolant should be chang
Andru [333]

Answer:

Technician B is correct i-e IAT type coolant should be changed every 2 years.

Explanation:

Coolant is one of the most important fluid for the car as it prevents the engine from overheating during summers and freezing during winters. What it does is that it actually lowers the freezing point during summers and increases the boiling point of the system during summers. There are different types of coolant used by different cars. Among which, two of them are:

1) OAT i-e Organic Acid Technology

2) IAT i-e Inorganic Additive Technology

IAT type coolants are usually used by older cars and generally should be usually replaced every 2 years. While, the other type which is the OAT type coolant should be replaced every 5 years.

Thus, Technician B is correct i-e IAT type coolant should be changed every 2 years.

PLEASE HELP ME suppose you ride a bicycle around the ,returning to your starting point. At the end of your trip is your average
lbvjy [14]

Answer:

Greater than

Explanation:

Distance is the length of the path traveled.  Displacement is the difference between the final position and initial position.

Speed = distance / time

Velocity = displacement / time

Since you return to your starting point, your displacement is 0 m, so your average velocity is 0 m/s.  Therefore, your average speed is greater than your average velocity.
