The graph on the top right would represent a function. A function line on a graph includes one line going in one direction. It's not 2 lines, its not just dots either and it definitely isn't in a square because, as I said, it goes in ONE direction. Hope this helped!

Answer:

Graph on top right.

Step-by-step explanation:

We will analyze the graphs given.

A). Graph 1 has two lines showing different points on them and a common point of intersection.

Here lines are representing two functions but the graph is of a system of functions.

So it's not the correct option.

B). this graph is showing a line having points on it with different values of x and y. therefore, this is the correct option.

C). This is the graph representing the system of equations but not the functions.

D). It's a graph of scatter points so not the function.

which has greater cenetic energy a car traveling 30.0 km/hr or one twice as heavy traveling at 15 km/hr?
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

30 km/h car

Step-by-step explanation:

From analysis the   car traveling at 30 km/h has greater kinetic energy

we can deduce it from the expression of kinetic energy which is

KE=\frac{1}{2} mv^2

Assuming the mass m= 1 kg

For the 30 km/h

KE=\frac{1}{2}*1*30^2 \\\\KE=\frac{1}{2}*1*900\\\\\KE=450 J

For the 15 km/h

KE=\frac{1}{2}*2*15^2 \\\\ KE=\frac{1}{2}*2*225 \\\\\ KE=\frac{1}{2}*450 J\\\\\ KE=225 J

Though the kinetic energy is a function of mass and velocity, but from our analysis the faster moving object has more KE

Find the equation of a line through the coordinate (3,−2) and parallel to the line represented y=12x−2. A y=12x−2 B y=−2x+4 C y=
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

y=12x−2. parallel lines have the same slope 12

find b at point (3,-2)

y=12x+b

-2=12(3)+b

-2-36=b

b=-36

the equation has to be y=12x-38

when you input the point(3,-2)

-2=12(3)-38

-2=-2 correct
