Liters of gas before they removed some gas = 5,855
Liters of gas AFTER they removed some gas = 5,421
To find how much liters of gas are left,
5,855 - 5,421 = the amount of liters left in the tank
The number of liters left in the tank is 434 Liters.
Oh oh! WAIT! Not done yet! The question asked for MELLILETERS, But we only have liters. Let's convert it!

1 Liter = 1000 ml
434 liters = 1000 × 434
                 = 434000 ml.

So, the answer to your question is 434000 ml.
I hope this helps! ☺

Three out of four students in a school said they would vote for nuncio for class president. Predict how many of the 340 students
Papessa [141]
3/4 = x / 340....3 to 4 students = x to 340 students
cross multiply
(4)(x) = (3)(340)
4x = 1020
x = 1020/4
x = 255 <==

or this way.....

3 out of 4 students.....3/4 = 75%
so 75% of 340 = 0.75(340) = 255 <=

Christine performed the following experiment 20 times using a book that contains 462 pages.
wel

Using the probability concept, it is found that there is a 0.3 = 30% experimental probability that Christine will randomly choose a page that is divisible by 3.

What is a probability?

A probability is given by the number of desired outcomes divided by the number of total outcomes.

In an experimental probability, these number of outcomes are taken from previous trials.

In this problem:

  • The experiment was made 20 times.
  • Of those, in 6 experiments(81, 105, 171, 159, 297, 387) she choose a page that was divisible by 3.

Then:

p = \frac{6}{20} = 0.3

0.3 = 30% experimental probability that Christine will randomly choose a page that is divisible by 3.
