can anyone help and explain why this is either proportional or not? urgent!! (it needs an explanation too)
adoni [48]
This is not proportional because it does not go through the origin and if you were to draw a straight line it would not not go through all the points.
Hope this helps :)

I would like some help thank you :)
pantera1 [17]

Answer:

\angle AE = 32^{\circ}

\angle EAD = 212^{\circ}

\angle BE = 133^{\circ}

\angle BCE = 227^{\circ}

\angle AED = 180^{\circ}

\angle BD = 79^{\circ}

Step-by-step explanation:

The central angle of a circle is equal to 360º, whose formula in this case is:

\angle AB + \angle BC + \angle CD + \angle DE + \angle EA = 360^{\circ}

In addition, the following conditions are known from figure:

\angle BC = 47^{\circ}, \angle DE = 148^{\circ}

\angle DE + \angle EA = 180^{\circ}

\angle CD + \angle DE = 180^{\circ}

\angle AB + \angle BC + \angle CD = 180^{\circ}

Now, the system of equations is now solved:

\angle EA = 180^{\circ}-\angle DE

\angle EA = 180^{\circ}-148^{\circ}

\angle EA = 32^{\circ}

\angle CD = 180^{\circ}-\angle DE

\angle CD = 180^{\circ}-148^{\circ}

\angle CD = 32^{\circ}

\angle AB = 180^{\circ} - \angle BC - \angle CD

\angle AB = 180^{\circ}-47^{\circ}-32^{\circ}

\angle AB = 101^{\circ}

The answers are described herein:

\angle AE = 32^{\circ}

\angle EAD = 212^{\circ}

\angle BE = 133^{\circ}

\angle BCE = 227^{\circ}

\angle AED = 180^{\circ}

\angle BD = 79^{\circ}

An aeroplane covers a distance of 7200 km an hour how much distance will it cover in 12 hours
Vilka [71]

Answer:

86,400 km.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be time (hours) and y be distance (km).

If an aeroplane covers a distance of 7200 km/h then we can write an equation as y = 7200x

This means if x = 1 i.e time is one hour and the distance is 7200 km.

Therefore, in 12 hours will be x = 12, substitute x = 12 in y = 7200x.

Thus, y = 7200(12) then calculate as we receive 86,400 km.

Hence, it will cover 86,400 km in 12 hours.

Second Method

Another method involves with speed formula, speed = distance/time.

Because we want to find distance, move time to multiply with speed.

Thus, our new formula for distance is <u>distance = speed*time.</u>

Our speed is 7,200 km/h and time would be 12 because we want to find distance within 12 hours.

Hence, distance = 7200*12 = 84,600 km.

K is the midpoint, in the line JL, equally. The space between segment JK is 2k-5. The space between segment KL is 3x-8. What is
natta225 [31]

Answer:

JL=2 units

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

If k is the midpoint in the line JL

then

JL=JK+KL

JK=KL

substitute the given values

2x-5=3x-8

Solve for x

3x-2x=-5+8

x=3

so

JK=2x-5=2(3)-5=1 units

KL=3x-8=3(3)-8=1 units

therefore

JL=JK+KL=1+1=2 units
