Creatine supplements helps to increase amount of creatine in the body. Our bodies naturally have around 120 mmol/kg of creatine.  By taking Creatine supplements this amount increases to around 140–150 mmol/kg. Creatine's main function is to help the muscles in your body to produce energy.

Some studies suggest that intake of Creatine reduces dehydration, muscle cramps or injuries. There have been numerous case studies which show that intake of Creatine causes weight gain. Numerous case studies have shown that increased level of Creatine in the blood stream does not affect the kidneys, liver and stomach.
