Answer and explanation:

19.is 5th degree polynomial because the the ^ is 5 witch is a degree of 5 and there is four terms so its a polynomial

20 t will equal 49 because here is my work -16(4)^2+75(4)+5= -16(16)+300+5=-256+300+5=49

now here is some stuff to remember about 19

when ever you see something like 5x^2 its a 2nd degree monomial

when you see 5x^2+5 its a second degree binomial

when you see 6x^4+3x+2 its a 4th degree trinomial

but anything over 3 terms is a polynomial of what ever degree such as ^2 ^3 or even ^5 degree

Hope i helped you learn may i please have brainliest. Please ;)

Find the exact area of an equilateral triangle if the length of one side is 40
VARVARA [1.3K]
Equilateral triangle is a triangle with the 3 sides of the same length, and the 3 angles with the same measures/degree.
The formula to find the area of a triangle is base x height/2 , you do have the base (40), but you need the height. To find the height of an equilateral triangle you use the formula: side/2 x radical3, this way u'll find the height and therefor can calculate the area of the triangle.
Hope that helped :)

07.03 MC) An equation is shown below: 9(3x – 16) + 15 = 6x – 24 Part A: Write the steps you will use to solve the equation, and
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

x=5

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright you will need to use PEMDAS for this

  • Parenthesis
  • Exponent
  • Multiplication
  • Division
  • Addition
  • Subtraction ( Take note of this )

Step 1

9(3x – 16) + 15 = 6x – 24 You will remove parenthesis here

27x-129=6x-24

Step 2

Then subtract 6x,

27x-129=6x-24

21x-129=-24

Step 3

Then you add 129 to the sides,

21x-129=-24

21x=105

After that, you divide the sides by 21  so that you can get your answer

5

So therefore, your answer will be x=5

Write an equation of a line in slope intercept form that is perpendicular to the line 2x -3y = 12 and passes through the point (
Scilla [17]

Answer:

The equation of the line would be y = -3/2x + 9

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to solve this, start by finding the slope of the original line. You can do this by solving for y.

2x - 3y = 12

-3y = -2x + 12

y = 2/3x - 4

Now that we have a slope of 2/3, we know that the perpendicular slope is -3/2 (since perpendicular lines have opposite and reciprocal slopes). We can use this and the new point in point-slope form to find the equation.

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 6 = -3/2(x - 2)

y - 6 = -3/2x + 3

y = -3/2x + 9
