The appropriate response would be Tellurium. For the reason that it can receive a - 2 charge, and when it grabs two electrons, it fills the 5p shell with six electrons, so it will have the electronic arrangement of [Xe]. It cannot be Barium since if it loses two electrons, it will get the electronic configuration of [Xe] when it loses the 6s2 electrons, but it will be a +2 cation, not an anion.

Explanation:

Atomic number of Xenon is 54 and its electronic configuration is 1s^{2}2s^{2}2p^{6}3s^{2}3p^{6}3d^{10}4s^{2}4p^{6}4d^{10}5s^{2}5p^{6}.

When an element gains an electron then it acquires a charge of -1. And, when two electrons are gained by an element then it acquires a charge of -2 and so on.

Tellurium is the element which has 52 electrons and electronic configuration of Te^{2-} is as follows.     1s^{2}2s^{2}2p^{6}3s^{2}3p^{6}3d^{10}4s^{2}4p^{6}4d^{10}5s^{2}5p^{6}

Thus, we can conclude that tellurium element forms an ion with an electronic configuration of 1s^{2}2s^{2}2p^{6}3s^{2}3p^{6}3d^{10}4s^{2}4p^{6}4d^{10}5s^{2}5p^{6} and a charge of -2.

PLZ HELP I WILL GIVE BRAINLIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
Butoxors [25]

Answer:

1. It flies because of four forces. These same four forces help an airplane fly. The four forces are lift, thrust, drag, and weight. As a Frisbee flies through the air, lift holds it up

2. lift

In order for an aircraft to rise into the air, a force must be created that equals or exceeds the force of gravity. This force is called lift. In heavier-than-air craft, lift is created by the flow of air over an airfoil. The shape of an airfoil causes air to flow faster on top than on bottom.

3. Gravity and drag (air resistance, which is friction caused by air rubbing against the plane) try to pull the plane down and slow its speed. A plane must be built so that lift and thrust are stronger than the pull of gravity and drag by just the right amount.

4. If lift becomes greater than weight, then the plane will accelerate upward. If the weight is greater than the lift, then the plane will accelerate downward. When the thrust becomes greater than the drag, the plane will accelerate forward.

5.The 4 Forces of Flight. In level flight, lift equals weight and thrust equals drag when the plane flies at constant velocity. Maintaining a steady flight requires a balance, often described as an equilibrium of all the forces acting upon an airplane.

For an ideal gas under constant volume, if the pressure is tripled, what happens to the Kelvin temperature?
EleoNora [17]

Answer:

Increase pressure 3X => increase Temperature 3X

Explanation:

Gay-Lussac Law => T ∝ P => T =kP => Empirical Relationship => T₁/P₁ = T₂/P₂

=> T₂ = T₁P₂/P₁

Given P₂ = 3P₁ => T₂ = T₁(3P₁)/P₁ = 3T₁
