The Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium law is an important way to check whether natural selection or other evolutionary factors are influencing a particular population. Through the Hardy-Weinberg equation, we can determine the genetic configuration of a population that is not evolving. From this analysis, we can compare the data with the actual information of the population and thus understand whether or not there is evolution.

According to Hardy and Weinberg, a population that is not evolving has, from generation to generation, constant frequency of alleles and genotypes. In those cases, where only recombination is observed according to Mendel's laws, we say that the population is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium.

A population is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium when its genotypic and allelic frequencies remain constant. For the equilibrium to occur, the analyzed population must obey some premises. The essential conditions for a population to remain in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium are:

 • Lack of natural selection
 • No mutations
 • No gene flow
 • Large population
 • Same number of males and females in population
 • All couples should be fertile and have the same number of puppies.
 • Occurrence of random intersections.

Answer:

The Hardy-Weinberg law states that in a sufficiently large population, in which matings occur randomly and that is not subject to mutation, selection or migration, gene and genotypic free frequencies are kept constant from one generation to another, once a state of equilibrium has been reached, which in autosomal loci is reached after one generation.

It is said that a population is in equilibrium when the alleles of the polymorphic systems maintain their frequency in the population throughout the generations.

Answer:

It goes to the plants or the predators that ate the organisms

Explanation:

Decomposers will break down carcasses into nutrients and provide nutrients for plants in the form of dirt

However if the organism is killed by a predator, the predator will then receive their share of energy by eating the organism.

An age-related change in the nervous system that can adversely affect nutritional status is
Nookie1986 [14]
An age-related change in the nervous system that can adversely affect nutritional status is decreased taste perception, hearing loss and vision loss. Aging refers to a multidimensional process in humans, the process of physical, and psychological, and social changes. As a population, older adults are more prone to age-related diseases, functional impairment, and physical inability that nay interfere with the maintenance of a good nutritional status.

Identify the eukaryotic cellular locations of the fundamental processes that are involved in the central dogma of molecular biol
Papessa [141]

Answer:

See the answer below

Explanation:

The central dogma gives a description of how genetic information travels in biological cells from DNAs to proteins. DNAs are first transcribed into messenger RNAs in a process known as transcription and the resulting mRNAs are used in the synthesis of proteins in a process known as translation.

In eukaryotic cells, transcription process happens within the confines of the nucleus because the genetic material in the form of DNAs are always located in the nucleus. Thereafter, the mRNAs generated from transcription are transported to the cytoplasm of the cell where they become translated into proteins.

Hence;

 • Transcription happens in the nucleus of the cell.
 • Translation happens in the cytoplasm of the cell.
