Which of the following statements best describes the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in Korea
mihalych1998 [28]

Answer: The DMZ is a strip that separates North and South Korea.

Explanation:

After the surrender of Japan and the end of the Second World War, the Soviet Union and the United States of America occupied the Korean peninsula. To avoid conflict, Korea was divided into parallel 38, forming North Korea under the control of the Soviet Union, and South Korea under the support of the United Nations.

Due to the policy that each party adopted, much tension was generated between the two countries that triggered the Korean War.

The demilitarization zone was established in 1953 after a truce between both parties, this zone delimits the border between both countries and establishes a neutral zone of 4 kilometers wide.

The disagreements between Hamilton and Jefferson led to A- a revised Constitution. B-a reformed Congress. C-new cabinet members.
OverLord2011 [107]

The disagreements between Hamilton and Jefferson led to D-new political parties.

The first American party ever made was the Federalist, in 1787, led mainly by Alexander Hamilton and the support of other leaders such as bankers, northern businessmen, and merchants. They promoted the belief that Constitution was open to interpretation, thus the government had "unmentioned rights" to have additional powers, and also found necessary a strong national government and a national bank, as well as a good relationship with England.

Thomas Jefferson strongly opposed to the Federalist interpretation of the Constitution as well as the idea of a strong government, and around a year later he formed the second American party with James Madison: The Democratic-Republican. It was supported by planters, small farmers, and artisans. In contrast, they leaned to the idea of giving more power to the states and local governments and preferred to have a good relationship with France, instead of Britain.
