The volume of a pyramide is

V = Ab.h/3

In this case Ab = 7 . 7 = 49

V = 49.h/3

V = 49.11/3

V = 539/3

Now let's see the cone volume

V = π.r².h/3

V = π.3².11/3

V = π.3.11

V = 33π

Now we just remove the cone from the pyramid

539/3 - 33π = 75,994cm³

Rounding its 76cm³

Jacques needs to convert the function f(x) = x2 − 6x + 14 to vertex form, f(x) = (x − h)2 + k, in order to find the minimum.
Anarel [89]

k = 5

the equation of a parabola in vertex form is

y = a(x - h)² + k

where (h, k ) are the coordinates of the vertex and a is a multiplier

To obtain this form use the method of completing the square

Since the coefficient of the x² term is 1 then

add/ subtract (half the coefficient of the x-term )² to x² - 6x

f(x) = x² + 2(- 3)x + 9 - 9 + 14 = (x - 3)² + 5 → k = 5

Mari has 39 square feet of patio bricks. Each square brick has sides 1 foot long. What is the greatest perimeter of a rectangle
Margaret [11]
I think you would do 39 x 4 because if the SQUARE brick has sides 1 foot long, you count up the sides and get 4 feet. She has 29 square feet of patio bricks so you would multiply 39 x 4. I don't know if this is correct. Hopefully I helped!

PLEASEE HELP I NEED IT its about due
kherson [118]

Answer:

∠GJK is 22°

Step-by-step explanation:

Because the shape is a rectangle we know that GH is parallel to JI

This means that because of the alternate angle rule we know that

5x+8 = 7x-16

Then we solve for x

5x+8-5x = 7x-16-5x

8+16=2x-16+16

\frac{24}{2}=\frac{2x}{2}

x=16

So this means that ∠HJI is 68°

Because the shape is a rectangle we know that ∠GJI is a right angle

This means that ∠GJK is 90-∠HJI because of the angles on a right angle rule

90-68 =22

∴∠GJK is 22°
