Many vegetables have protein and vitamins in them that will substitute for the absence of meat. Fruit will also have beneficial vitamins. The only substance required for our bodies not found in fruit and vegetables is B12, only found in meat. However depending on how long someone has ate meat the body has a 2 - 3 supply of B12, but a person should take B12 vitamins to keep their body health

How do the sympathetic and parasympathetic respond to stress?
monitta
The sympathetic system is our “flight or flight” defense to help during stressful situations. It prepares the body to either fight the threat or to flee. The parasympathetic system is what brings the bodily functions back to homeostasis after the “fight or flight” had been activated and the threat is over.

Anthony is sick of writing papers and studying for tests, but he knows he needs a college degree if he wants to be successful in
vodka [1.7K]

Answer:

The personality structure that is in control in the case given is:

b) ego.

Explanation:

According to Freud, there are three personality structures:

 1. The id that cares about the most primitive requirements of being and how to satisfy them.
 2. The superego that cares about keeping the id controlled through the ethical and / or moral ideas that have been instilled in it.
 3. The ego, in charge of focusing on reality to be, aimed at satisfying the id, but aware of the needs that life in reality brings.

The ego is the one that best represents Anthony's situation, since although he is tired and would surely prefer to meet the needs of the id, he is forced by himself to get up, go to classes and study, in order to obtain a university degree (engine of his reality), with which in the future he can meet the needs of the id, without neglecting the reality in which he lives.

Cellular respiration pogil how is energy transferred and transformed in living systems
Grace [21]
All living organisms carried out metabolism. Metabolism refers to a set of biochemical reactions on which the survival of the living organisms depend. Living organisms get energy from the food they eat to fuel the biochemical reactions. The majority of the energy needed in the body is derived from carbohydrates. When carbohydrate is eaten, it is broken down through the metabolic process of glycolysis and subsequent biochemical reactions and the final product is energy. This energy is then used for various purposes in the cell, especially to drive biochemical reactions and it can be transferred from one form to another.
